FAQ

Pricing questions answered.

Do you migrate my existing site?

Yes — we offer guided migration on all plans. Our team works with you to move your content, media, and database onto Wordimatic and coordinate the DNS cutover, scheduled for a low-traffic window to keep disruption to a minimum. Every site is different, so we scope the migration with you up front rather than promising a fixed automated transfer.

What if I already have a host I'm happy with?

You can keep it. Our Connected tier ($69/mo per connected site) links a site you host elsewhere to your Wordimatic dashboard: the connector plugin reports on site health, your core, plugin, and theme inventory, and what needs updating, and your production site gets a Wordimatic-hosted staging workbench. Hands-on management of the production site itself — updates, backups, and support work — remains part of managed hosting, and when you're ready to move, we guide the migration.

How does the AI assistant work?

Every plan includes an AI assistant in your dashboard, grounded in your site's live context — it helps you troubleshoot issues, understand plugin and configuration choices, and plan changes. It guides you; it doesn't make changes to your live site on its own. A WordPress engineer handles the hands-on work.

What counts as a support hour?

Any hands-on engineering time counts as a support hour. This includes custom code, troubleshooting, configuration changes, consultations, custom development, and plugin work. Automated monitoring, routine updates, backups, security scans, and uptime checks do not count against your hours. Optimize and Operate include a set number of hours each month; beyond that, extra work is billed at a discounted member rate. Larger features, integrations, migrations, redesigns, and new builds are scoped separately.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. Month-to-month on all plans. If you cancel, we'll give you a full export of your site, point your DNS wherever you want it, and make sure your team has everything they need to continue without us.

Do you support WooCommerce sites?

WooCommerce and transactional WordPress sites are reviewed case by case. Because ecommerce sites carry higher operational risk, we evaluate the store, extensions, payment flow, and custom code before recommending a plan. Some WooCommerce sites may require Operate or a custom Partner agreement.

What happens if my site goes down?

For sites on our managed infrastructure, we monitor uptime every 60 seconds — if your site goes down, our team gets an immediate alert and starts investigating, so you don't have to report it. Operate plan customers get a 1-hour emergency response guarantee for outages and security incidents. Uptime monitoring doesn't yet extend to Connected sites hosted elsewhere; for those, the connector reports on site health, your core, plugin, and theme inventory, and what needs updating.

Is there a contract or minimum commitment?

Monthly plans have no contracts or minimum commitment. Annual billing is optional and includes a 20% discount.

How is Partner different from Operate?

Operate is designed for teams that need hands-on support for a small group of WordPress sites. Partner is built for larger portfolios, agencies, custom workflows, white-label support, or organizations that need a tailored SLA, dedicated communication path, and flexible retainer hours.

Does Partner include unlimited sites?

Partner plans are customized around your portfolio size, site complexity, traffic, risk level, and support needs. We do not use a one-size-fits-all unlimited model because a simple brochure site and a business-critical custom WordPress site require very different levels of care.

Can agencies use Partner for white-label support?

Yes. Partner can include white-label support, client-safe reporting, custom communication workflows, and technical escalation behind your agency brand.
