Connected vs Managed, side by side.

Connected monitors a site you host elsewhere. The Managed plans — Maintain, Optimize, Operate, and Partner — are where we host, secure, and operate the site for you.

What you can and cannot install.

Every hosted site runs one platform base theme, the Wordimatic Site Kit, with nine design packs: vertical starting points, each a full page set, navigation and front page that you edit in place. Under that sit a shared accessible pattern library and the full WordPress Site Editor. Brand colors, fonts and corner radius are applied on top of any pack from your dashboard.

You do not install arbitrary themes or page builders on a hosted site. That is deliberate. It is where the "cannot break" reliability, the accessibility checks and the patch guarantees come from: there is one code path to test, harden and update, not thousands.

Plugins work the same way. There is a curated catalog and a request flow, and every plugin is reviewed before it is offered. When you request one, you get an answer within 5 business days: accepted, scheduled, or declined with the reason.

Two paths exist beyond the packs. Agencies on Partner can have a custom theme built per site: a private GitHub repo generated for it, preview environments on every branch, and the same accessibility and performance gate every design pack passes before it goes live. Wordimatic then hosts and patches it like any other site. If your site needs a specific marketplace theme or page builder, it is a better fit for Connected (monitoring, backups and updates for a site hosted elsewhere) than for Managed hosting, and we will say so up front rather than after signup.

FAQ

Pricing questions answered.

Do you migrate my existing site?

Yes, on every plan, and we do the work. We move your content, media, and database, then run the DNS cutover in a low-traffic window so your visitors don't notice. We scope it with you first — a migration that goes wrong is worse than one that takes an extra day, and we've seen enough of them to know where the surprises hide.

What if I already have a host I'm happy with?

You can keep it. Our Connected tier ($69/mo per connected site) links a site you host elsewhere to your Wordimatic dashboard: the connector plugin reports on site health, your core, plugin, and theme inventory, and what needs updating, and your production site gets a Wordimatic-hosted staging workbench. Hands-on management of the production site itself — updates, backups, and support work — remains part of managed hosting, and when you're ready to move, we guide the migration.

How does the AI assistant work?

Every plan includes it, with a monthly allowance of credits you can top up any time. It already knows your site — your plugins, your configuration, your history — so you can ask why a page is slow or what a change would break and get a straight answer instead of a search result. It advises; it doesn't touch your live site. A WordPress engineer does the hands-on work.

What counts as a support hour?

Hands-on engineering time: custom code, troubleshooting, configuration changes, consultations, plugin work. What doesn't count is everything the platform does on its own — monitoring, routine updates, backups, uptime checks. You're paying for engineers, so that's what the hours measure. Optimize and Operate include time each month, and you can see exactly what was logged against it. Beyond that you get a member rate; larger projects are scoped separately.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. Month-to-month on all plans. If you cancel, we'll give you a full export of your site, point your DNS wherever you want it, and make sure your team has everything they need to continue without us.

Do you support WooCommerce sites?

Yes — and we look at yours properly before quoting. A store that takes money has a different risk profile to a brochure site: we go through the extensions, the payment flow, and any custom code first, so the plan we recommend is one that can actually carry it. Busier stores usually land on Operate or Partner.

What happens if my site goes down?

We already know. We check every 60 seconds, and the alert goes to our on-call engineer, not to you — most customers hear from us before they've noticed anything. On Operate, an engineer is on an outage within the hour. (Connected sites are the exception: we report on their health and what needs updating, but we don't run uptime checks on infrastructure we don't control.)

Is there a contract or minimum commitment?

No. Plans are billed monthly with no contract and no minimum commitment — cancel any time.

How is Partner different from Operate?

Operate is designed for teams that need hands-on support for a small group of WordPress sites. Partner is built for larger portfolios, agencies, custom workflows, white-label support, or organizations that need an SLA negotiated to their needs, a dedicated communication path, and flexible retainer hours.

Does Partner include unlimited sites?

Partner is built around your portfolio — size, complexity, traffic, risk. We don’t sell an “unlimited” number, because unlimited is how portfolios end up with the same thin attention spread across every site. You get an allowance sized to what your sites actually need.

Can agencies use Partner for white-label support?

Yes. Partner can include white-label support, client-safe reporting, custom communication workflows, and technical escalation behind your agency brand.
